Cabinet Humidor Suggestions?

I was thinking of getting a cabinet humidor something like the Avallo 1000, 1200 or maybe something larger like the TD to hold loose cigars and boxes. Does anyone have one or something similar to recommend?

I don't know about the Avallo humidors, per se but I do know a fellow gorilla (gabebdog1) is getting ready to purchase the 1000. Maybe you should talk to him. Maybe send him a PM.

check this place out:

you'd need to add a humidification system(or two or three) but I think something like this would be the ultimate!

Another option is a custom built one from David at Heartfelt Industries. Everytime I go to buy beads, I have to look at his humidors. Truely a work of art!

Re: Cabinet Humidor Suggestions?

I just picked up this one, looks like a little more space than the Avallo for a less expensive price:

I'm not sure if this is in your size range, but it's a good-looking '1200' cigar cabinet humidor. I'm thinking about ordering one myself.

another wine fridge:

all you'd have to do is add a humidity source, it even has fans built in.

I actually bought my Manassas from this company, but they no longer have it in stock. Dave there says hopefully November, but he took it off his site until he stocks them again. I like the Manassas better its dimensions are 24" W x 24" D x 30" H rather than this ones 22" W x 24" D x 28" H. The drawer is also internal rather than external. The external drawer is nice in that you can access it without opening the cabinet...but I am removing the drawers from the Manassas so I have even more box storage space, as I have smaller humidors for storing singles.

I second that. These are more than just a humidor. They are the best I have ever seen. I am very happy with mine. I got the M+.

Re: Cabinet Humidor Suggestions?

WOW ...Thanks for all the info .....I may have to get something I can move easily, sell, or give to a friend (15-40 box unit) rather than go all out (which I would normally do) and get a unit that can hold a few million boxes and singles. I wish I didn't look at the aristocrat humidors page because those are right up my alley. I may have to just pull the trigger on one anyway.

I recently purchased a Manassas as well and am completely satisfied. Not only does it look great, but for me it holds perfect RH w the 65% beads. I have a window A/C unit for temp control and my cigars smoke GREAT.

Cool...I would love an Aristocrat, but the Manassas fits my budget. I am going to set it up after I move next month, glad to hear yours works so well!
