The hard part seems to be finding finished pieces (1/8 - 3/16 - 1/4 etc, surfaced 2 sides) in a width over 4 or 5 inches! I'd be especially interested in sources for such things if you've got em!

Re: Humdidor Wood Sources, Spanish Cedar and Mahogany

I used Internet Lumber when I built my humidors. Though I got rough sawn and resawed and planed my own. I was able to get 1" rough and resaw it so I got 2 pieces 3/8" thick rather than using 1/4". I have some rough left over. What are you looking for?

I've had very good experiences with these guys when doing business for pistol grips. Some stunning stuff, all across the board (no pun intended).

Re: Humdidor Wood Sources, Spanish Cedar and Mahogany

I ended up scoring some really good pieces, uniform and wider than I could find anywhere else, at ebay

http://myworld.ebay.com/psu2177/

this seller cuts wood for a living and at the time I was able to win 5 auctions of 4 planks each, good product, price and service

Re: Humdidor Wood Sources, Spanish Cedar and Mahogany

Anybody....

I've checked the sources listed above, but the size I'm looking for or anything close to it doesn't seem to exist.

I'm trying to locate one piece 12.5" high x 18" wide 1/4" Spanish Cedar to use on my cabinet humidor.

If anybody has a piece for sale, trade etc...or just a source... help!

You're going to have to do a re-saw and glue-up. If you buy the wood a local woodworker or cabinet shop cut help you out.
Try Wall Lumber for the wood.
Google for "Wall Lumber" because I can't post a link.
