Choice of cutters

Up until now I have been using the cheapo $2.00 from Holts and they seem to work very well. However, I know that most people here like Palio or similar upscale cutters.
Question - Is there a difference in the long run between using 6 or 7 cheapos in a year instead of investing in a Palio and using it for the same amount of ime or longer? Larry.

I would say the difference lies in the quality of the cut. There is nothing worse than ruining a great cigar because of a sub-par cutter.

If I lost 100 Palios I would buy 101.

Re: Choice of cutters

Palio is the only cutter you will ever need. Contact n2adventure to purchase one, Mark rocks!

i like that...

personally like the quality of the cut and the coustomer service provided by palio, i have never delt with Xicar or with Davidoff, but i imagine the coustomer service would be up to par as well...

6-7 cheap cutters per year= $12-$14
1 Palio to last many, many years= $35
The perfect cut on a cigar= priceless
