New eBay Humidor

Hey everybody this is my first official posting and I couldn't think of a better way to get it started....just wanted to pass on some good news about a humidor I purchased off eBay, auction#6222051565. I received the humidor yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised by the level of craftmanship and overall quality for this item. According to the item description it was manufactured by Havana-Humidors with a listed retail value of $849, I got it for $67 plus shipping. I was indeed skeptical about anything listed for a high $$$ amount and then getting it for an amount substantially less. I emailed the manuafacturer @ Havana-Humidors with the eBay auction # before I bid and they confirmed that it was in fact one of their models and it did have a MSRP of $849. I really don't place much importance on MSRP but its still good for the ego to think you get a good deal every once in a while.

I have read previous humidor postings that once you get past the function of the humidor all you really have is a box. However my wife did suprise me when she said to put it in the family room for display instead of hiding out of site.

I guess the bottom line is if you are happy with the purchase and it serves it function thats all that really matters.

As a caveat I have zero financial interest with the manufacturer of this item or the vendor I purchased it from. Just wanted to share what I considered to be a good value and a great find.

Looks like a nice box. With all the $ you saved you can get some beads and a digital hygrometer for it.

If you are like most people around here, you will fill it QUICKLY!
As an example, I smoke about 5 sticks a week but buy 10+ per week on average! I read that a humidor maintains humidity better full, so thanks to SatanBid, my humidors are getting full and the humidity is just fine
