Western Caliber III

Anyone ever have one go crazy for a second? Today mine went blank and I had to remove the battery and put it back in again. After that all was ok. It is only 1 1/2 - 2 months old so the battery should be fine.

Just curious if anyone had this happen before????

Re: Western Caliber III

I had a little havana hygrometer read -178 F temp. I removed the battery and replaced it and all was normal again. Interesting.

I have a Western Cailber II I think it is. When it got too cold, i.e. 30 degrees in the unattached room I had my humidor in, it totally freaked out and needed a reset by taking out the battery.

It happens quite frequently with some of my Radio Shack units. I just clean the batterys on my shirt and re-install them and everything is OK.

Good to know that they can act up once in a while. I thought mine was getting ready to crap out on me. It has been fine ever since I tool out the battery and reinstalled it.

Thanks guys
