Single, Double or Triple Flame Butane Torch

I'm looking at upgrading from my Bic.. and was wondering which is the right one to chose.. or maybe which one is preferred. Or which ones to NOT chose.

Why would one chose a 3 flame over a single or double? Just for more coverage? I'm new to butane lighters... I did try and search but I guess maybe missed what I was looking for.

Thanks!

Yes, the triple flame provides a bigger flame, and lights the cigar much easier.
I find it to be the best. BargainHumidors.com has a nice little Zeus triple flame on sale right no for about 5 BUCKS!!
(That's a deal that can't be passed up on......they usually go for much more than that....)
The only negative about triple flame lighters is that they burn through fuel rather quickly. Be sure to get some triple refined (or quad/quin refined) fuel so you can keep it filled up.

When I fill mine up, it lasts all night. I can toast/light/touch up my three cigars, and my friend's as well.

By the way, I'm from Texas, too. D/FW area. I guess I missed your initial post, so welcome!

I have a single jet Colibri, and a few triple jet lighters...the triple is the best for lighting cigars...of the three I have (Colibri, NIBO, Tiger), the most reliable seems to be the 3 jet Tiger, and the one that's in the shop the most seems to be the 3 jet Colibri...

I have a triple jet and, while it's cool and lights a cigar quickly, it just burns up too much fuel to be my everyday cigar lighter. For that, the PB-207 (Nextcigar less than $30) is my pick. Single, very hot flame and it lasts forever. It will light and touch up dozens of cigars before you even need to think about refilling it.

I have a Colibri Quantum Enterprise that I love. It lights cigars great and works very well when windy. It's a triple flame and as others have mentioned it goes through fluid quickly. Since it has a fuel level viewing window, I make sure it gets topped off before I head out.

I'm partially to it because it was a gift from the wife

I have a triple jet Tiger and have had no ploblems with it at all. I had a single and a double flame, but the triple lights my cigars better.

Carlos(blueface) got me hooked on my blazer evo. Nice fuel capacity and a nice duel flame. Lights my cigars just fine and lasts forever.

Click here Just don't buy there. Ebay will get you a better deal.
