Humidor question/issue

Hello all. I have a Craftsman's Bench Mountaineer Humidor with a digital hygrometer. For humidification i use two 4 oz. Humi-Care humidifers. My issue is that these devices take up a lot of room. Im supposed to be able to fit 100 cigars in the humidor. Right now there is only about 50, with 25 more on the way. If i use one humidifer the humidity is never where I like it to be.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Diamond Crown Humidifcation Device. It is a little pricey but if I can mount it on the lid and open up a lot more room in my humidor I will be very happy. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I recommend you head over to:

www.heartfeltindustries.com and get yourself a tube of 65% beads, it will take up a lot less room and work perfect for you.

I would go with beads, and they have containers that mount to the lid.

That DC device is sooooooo overpriced. Beads or water pillows is the way to go. All humidors hold about or less than two-thirds of what they claim to. You can always use regular humidfication meadia and velcro them to the lid. Or use double-sided tape.

I would like to say that my latest cooler does hold around 96qts. of cigars though.

get a couple drimystat sticks.. they're awesome!

I know everyone here preaches beads from heartfelt, but I think drimystats have em beat. You can put it right in the middle of your sticks with no effect, therefore they only take up the space of 1 cigar each.

Kinda like these tubes from Heartfelt but more effective and less time-consuming. No product out there better for peace of mind than beads

Another vote for beads. Very low maintenance and they work very well.
