Humidor Question

Is it possible to keep too many cigars in a humidor? Do you have to leave a certain amount of air space for circulation or can you stack them full?

Re: Humidor Question

Nope as long as you can close the lid. A full humidor is actually more stable than one that is say, a third full.

Re: Humidor Question

It depends on the type of humidor. For example a "standard box style" humidor is fine full to the brim so long as it closes. However, if you have a multiple drawer humidor then you need to leave a little space in each drawer to allow the humidity to move around a bit.

Hope this helps.

Re: Humidor Question

I have a desktop that has been packed for years and the sticks have been aging nicely. The good thing is that all of the cigars act to stabilize the humidity and it's extremely low maintenance.
