Humid-Eze Question

Just wondering what the general opinion is on Humid-Eze sticks -those ones you peel the strip off and only last a month. Also -are they really a rock solid 70% or do they fluctuate? I was trying to get a good average with some different humidifiers to calibrate my digital hygro. Please let me know what you guys think -Thanks!

If you're trying to calibrate your hygro, don't bother using various humidifiers.

Just use one of these: http://www.heartfeltindustries.com/products.asp?cat=23

The Boveda calibration pack is really simple and does a great job. You simply open a pack, stick the hygro in, seal up the ziploc baggie, and leave it alone for a couple of days in a stable temperature environment.

At the end, you just need to figure out how far off you are from 75.5% RH.

Re: Humid-Eze Question

Salt-test has always worked for me. I don't waste money with the Boveda packs.
