how many beads???

Quick question......lets say i have a 75 ct. humi and i want to put in a 2 oz. 65% bead tube. I read that the 2 oz. tube is for 75-150 ct. humis. What woud happen to my humi and cigars (70 in my case) if I were to put 2 oz. of beads as opposed to 1 oz. ,which is the recommended amount.... any comments??? thanks ,

Go ahead and buy a pound. You will need them sooner or later.

I'm with NCRM, actually, buying a pound and putting them in your own tubos will work out cheaper in the long run. And for now, you could actually put the whole pound in your humi, if you wanted to. Using excess beads will not in ANY way be detrimental to your humi or cigars. It says so somewhere on Viper's website, I'm just too tired to go look it up!

Ditto, buy a pound. They don't go bad, and you'll probably need them in the long run. Adding more than you need is a good thing, to the extent that it just gives you more "headroom" or "buffering capacity".

Too many beads does NOT hurt anything. Too FEW might make the stability a real problem.

Re: how many beads???

I was wondering the same thing before I ordered my first pound. I wish I would have ordered 2 pounds! If you are like most here, you will get more humis or a cooler. You'll then wish that you had got more beads.

Re: how many beads???

They are all right, there is no way to put too many beads in. All it will do is increase the amount of time they will last before you have to put distilled water on them to recharge.
