Capacity of various refrigadors

I'm looking at building a refrigador and was wondering if someone could help me with a capacity question? What do the following sizes hold in standard cigar boxes?

12btl
16btl
28btl

I know I should buy the biggest and be done with it, but I don't want a size bigger then my wallet can fill.

Thx for the help

Because cigar boxes come in so many sizes ans styles, it's impossible to say how many you could fit in those fridges.
If you buy the largest, your wallet will find a way to fill it
If you buy a smaller one now, you'll have to buy a larger one in the coming months anyway.

I know capacity will depend on box sizes but I was hopeing some of the peeps on here with refrigadors could chime in on what they have stuffed in theirs.

Re: Capacity of various refrigadors

Unfortunately I don't own a wine fridge as a humidor (at the moment...)

But what I can say is that most fridges are built around a standard bordeaux type of bottle. This translates into an equivalent space that is about 3.5" high, 3.5" wide, and 12" deep per bottle.

Personally I wouldn't go smaller than 16 bottle with 4 bottles per row. For the simple reason I get 14" of width that will let me fit a 100ct. humidor.

Re: Capacity of various refrigadors

I have a 96 bottle and I am closing in on 1600 sticks with some space to go.

I gave you stick count verus a box as I am a cab fan which would throw off the box count. Also most sticks are lonsdales, robustos and or PC as such if your a DC fan factor in less sticks.
