What's wrong with my hygrometer?
I have a Caliber III digital hygrometer that I just recently purchased. Whenever I open up the humidor to take a look at it, it reads fine, and its measurements are verified as accurate.
However, when I press on the button to look at the "max" temperature and humidity, I see numbers that are completely impossible. Recently it was reading 84 degrees as the maximum temperature. Last night, though, it said that the max temperature was 104 degrees with a humidity of 77%. There is no way that the inside of my humidor was 104 degrees. The inside of my house was no warmer than 75 degrees, and this thing is sitting in a cool, dark closet on the floor, and it is not next to a vent. What is going on with my hygrometer? |

Mea culpa
I believe I posted twice since the first time I tried, it didn't appear to go through. I would edit/delete my post, but it doesn't appear the forum software allows me to do so. Moderator - Please delete this duplicate. |
