I've seen 'em go for more on eBay.

I don't know if its a good humi, but its a nice looking piece of furniture.

That looks so damn sweet Duane - I would snap it up quick before someone else does. I've seen these antique humi's on eBay for varying amounts, and I think $40 is a good deal.

Just my humble opinion though...

That is a nice piece. I would buy it. It may not be good for storing your cigars in as many of those older wood tables do not seal well anymore, but it is a nice piece to have. I have a couple of boxes from the early 1900s. I do not use them, but they make nice conversation pieces for my collection. For $40 I would grab it.

I suggest picking up any cool piece of old furniture that you find at a great price. You can always line it with spanish cedar and have a really cool humidor. I love my ice box humidor and I know mtmouse will too.
