Very Temp Cigar Housing

Alright guys, I'm in a bind. I need a very temporary humidor housing setup. I'm now seasoning my first humidor, but it came with a few sticks. Is there anything that I can do to store them for the next 24-48 hours? I don't want them to dry out, but I don't know what else I can do for this period. They have been in the mail for about the past week, so I do not want any more damage to be done.

Do I really have any options?

Ziploc is your friend... add a water pillow or drymistat if you're so inclined. If the cigars are in good shape now, the'll be able to hang for a couple of days in a Ziploc.

Awesome, thank you. I just put them in one. I don't have a water pillow or dymistat, but if they should be able to last I'll just let them go for it. I just got them today, and my 150ct is coming in tomorrow so even this 20ct humidor that I'm seasoning now won't be in use for long. Soon as I get the new guy up and running I'll be set for a while, so I hope.

If you have a small tupperware type container, even better. Holds humidity a bit better than a ziploc.

Sounds like your 20ct is soon seasoned, the cigars will be fine a couple of days.

OK.. so you are up to 170 possible stick for storage. My advice to you... buy a cooler. Don't ask why, just go get one now, and a lb. of humidification beads. You will thank me in a month or two
