Good job with the "gorilla" marketing, akagorilla. It's a smart move for companies to keep an eye on forums dedicated to what they retail.

Added: God I'm a dork for thinking gorilla marketing to gorillas is funny.

I can't change opinions, but I can offer help... If I stepped into the fray, wild monkeys would attack.

Heh heh. I know - as they should. But the fact that you realize that fact is why I said you were doing a good job. Plus you weren't astro-turfing and pretending to be somebody else (that really pisses me off).

I have one of their Cherrywood humidors. I've had it for about 6 months. Does a pretty good job and holds a lot more than they said it would. However, the analog hygrometer then sent with it is crap.

Yeah, mine came with two. One is crap, one is near perfect. But nearly all analog hygrometers are crap. I recommend to anybody that seriously cares about the condition of there cigars to have at least one digital to keep an accurate tab on things.

Re: Thompson humidors

same as everyone else, humidors arent bad, hygrometers are terrible.

imo its always better to go with a non cigar brand digital hygro, usually cheaper and more accurate.

Re: Thompson humidors

w00t w00t! Have your dad wipe down the inside with some distilled water, fill the humidifier and let it start absorbing moisture in his absence. It'll take a little while to prep, so if he's not gone for too long it shouldn't hurt you much.
