Yeah, that's pretty complex. A coolerdor isn't hard at all Steve. It's just a cooler, whatever size you need and some beads from Heartfelt Industries. I would just use empty cigar boxes as the cedar that's needed to help regulate RH. Oh, and a digital hygro. Joe at Tinderbox has some for $25.

I got one of the small ones and salt tested it. It's dead on the RH %.

You can, but I don't know where to get it around here. I've heard that the boxes you put in the cooler will work. And put your singles in empty boxes that you have. But if you line it BE SURE to use a glue that has no odor. I made a tupperdor and lined it with Spanish cedar, but it still smells like glue 3 weeks later.

Walmart has a great hygrometer for only $7!! It's in the aisle with the thermostats. Works just as well as my pricier one.

I bought a cheap hygro at Walmart also and it is 8% off too. I found the best one to be the WESTERN CALIBER III DIGITAL, it runs around $20 and comes calibrated so there is nothing to worry about.
Scott what brand did you buy at Walmart for $7 that works?
