Talking New Coolidor
Well, it finally happened...I have two 125 count humidors and I have run out of space. Yesterday I went to Wally World and picked up this 70qt cooler. I then stopped by my favorite B&M (plug for Ted's Tobacco!) and picked up some of these cedar trays for free. These trays are actually the refill cartridges for Los Blancos cigars. (If your local cigar shop carries the Los Blancos line of cigars, you could probably pick up some of these for little or nothing.) Now I need to get some beads, a hygrometer, and get this puppy filled up with some cigars!

I ended up with three extra trays, so if anyone needs some, shoot me a PM and I'll send them out.

I'd bum some trays but I only got a 28qt and I don't think they'd fit! =D

I'm temporarily using priority mail boxes turned into homemade trays lol!

The trays are working out great, however since they had been laying around for a couple of months at the cigar shop, they absorbed a lot of cigar smoke smell. I've tried sanding them lightly and using baking soda, but the smell is still there. I'm gonna leave it open for another 4-5 days and see if that helps any. Should I try something like Pure Ayre? If anyone has other ideas to remove the smoke smell, let me know.

gah umm I'd say just leave them out as long as possible and hope for the best. It's hard to get that smoke smell out.

Looking good. The LB trays come in handy. We carry them at our store so when we have extras I always use them for extra trays!!
