Re: HOW TO: Build a Coolidor

I have 65& 1/2 lb of heartfelt beads in pantyhose on both ends of my coolidor, and just bought 1lb more just for good measure . Pantyhose takes up less room seeing as tho my coolidor is already full.

Re: HOW TO: Build a Coolidor

I built one of these when my 300 count humidor filled up. Amazing how quickly they fill up. I started with humi-beads and then my wife bought a Cigar Oasis for me for XMAS. What a gal!

I'm now using the Cigar Oasis with an Oregon Scientific sensor. I have a base station downstairs to monitor it upstairs. I still use some beads just to keep the Oasis from having to work too hard.

The tip about opening it on occasion is a good idea though. Not that I have to worry about that. I'm opening it to pull out a cigar every couple of days anyway.
