They are by the thermometers. Try by the outdoors/hardware section.

Mine is reading 70% right now. I'm going to give it another full 24 hrs in the test container and see if it comes up a few more. I hope it's not really a full 5% off.

I used a small tupperware container as the test dish. I put the lid on, then put a book on top of it and put my gallon of distilled H2O on top to get a better seal. I don' think I'm having problems with a good seal.

I'll report back tomorrow night...

OK Brothers, here is how it's going so far...76 RH for the 1st 6 hours, then settled to 75RH. This morning (16 hours), I read 72 degrees and 74RH.
OK, lesson learned..just checked again (at 18 hours) and found temp had risen to 79.4 and RH plummeted to 70.
YEP, I had the kit on the kitchen counter above the dishwasher, and being the dutiful husband, had turned the DW on about 30 minutes ago. Moved it to the opposite counter and placed it on top of a magazine (in case the granite countertops had some effect)
In last 5 minutes RH has gone back to 74.
Whew!!!!

here's what remember reading somewhere..in that case I thing I'd put a distilled wated soaked towel or some such on the analog until it maxed out..then at least you know it's alive..then let it settle back down and do the salt test again. right now my digital is reading 66% in the humi with a CI Puck and the analog on the humi door is reading 60

5 soda caps is way to much me thinks..

Take one soda cap. Put 1 - 2 teaspoons of salt and about 4 or 5 drops of water (perhaps less water).. more like a thick sludge.. use your best judgement.

I'm thinking you created a mini Sauna in that bag.

thanks steve. i ended up trading somebody for an oasis ultra that i already know is spot on,so i tested all of them against that. since none of them are adjustable i found out the following

1 is busto, and reads off the dial
1 is +22, and i will throw it away anyway
1 is +5 and i will use it until i remember to stop by wal mart for a digital
1 is spot on and i'll use it for the small cohiba humi that i have

that said i think i'll just pick up 3 cheap digitals at wal mart soon and be doen with it for all of the except for my smallest humi, that pretty much only stores about 10 robustos or less.
