Suggestions for a travelling cigar kit?
I'm trying to figure out what to use to hold: cigars, lighter(s), butane, matches, cutter(s), punch, scissors, multi-tool, etc. I was going to get a 2 or 5 stick Otterbox to hold cigars then put that inside the "kit bag" with the other stuff. I was thinking of a really small backpack-like thing that has pouches. The Otterbox is about 4"x8". Does someone make a kit bag for this? What do you guys use?

Yah know as I was typing that post I thought the exact same thing. However, I like to think of it as a European carry-all.

Another option, outside of a 'man purse' would be to get a shaving kit bag, some of them are quite large to accomidate various brushes, cream, etc..etc...
And you can get them in very nice leather. Now what I use is a portable hard drive bag made by Case Logic, it's got space for my five count box, plus it has a side compartment for things like breath mints, draw tools, etc..etc.. and a zippered space in the top where you can put lighters, cutters, cigar rests and the like I dig it... http://www.amazon.com/Medium-Externa...9769554&sr=8-2 a little larger http://www.amazon.com/Large-External...9769554&sr=8-5 For a small 'Herf' kit or day trip box...It's worth looking into, doesn't hurt your manly image and doesn't hurt your wallet either I'll see if I can't take a couple of pics of my setup

Ok...here are the pics...I'm still adding to this with some suggestions I've gotten from a post I started about Herf Kits, plus some stuff from Stogie Fresh I was reading up on...
Here it is unpacked and sprawled out... ![]() And here it is packed, the angle of this shows it to be full, but there's ALOT of room left in this kit to add everything else... ![]()

Great idea Jeff! I went right to the Case Logic site ( http://www.caselogic.com ) and there's a ton of choices. Very cool.

Thanks...
Laugh, I keep little packs for everything to make it easier when I'm packing to do something. Show us your setup when you are done...I'm always looking for ways to improve my kits...

Squid® uses an 84 Quart Squid-A-Dor® when traveling... It requires a DOD clearance, but what the heck! <G>

With all that gear you should consider a bigger otterbox. Whan I travel I use an otterbox, cutter and lighter in my pocket. I like to travel light.

I don't like to keep things in my pockets, wallet and small keyring are more than enough. Really though, I don't normally carry all those cutters, it was just to show you can fit ALOT into a small package. I am looking into getting a larger otterbox, eventually. I've been looking at some of the 40-50-60 carry cases that are more like briefcases...well ok, gun cases, but you know what I mean.

I know, I was talking about workdays. LOL. I carry a 5 ct otterbox with me everyday. I didn't want to go overboard with advice, but since you mentioned it, if I am traveling (more than back and forth to work
) I carry a 25ct. it lets me bring along a varied selection so that i always have a smoke that I am in the mood for. (That is a nice case).

Ya got pics of your 25 count?
And thanks I'm looking to either upgrade my 75 at the house and bring it to the office, or just bring one of my small 20 counters up here so I don't end up carrying my otterbox everyday... February...I keep telling myself I can buy a new humi in February...*laugh*
