Lightbulb Vaporizor

This might be a STUPID ass question but I was in my garage last night and noticed a brand new still in box "Vaporizor". I know it is for people w/ congestion and health reasons, but it does throw out a very slow, but light mist. I know you put regular water in them, but could a "Vaporizor" be used with "Distilled H2o" some way be used for Humidification cigar storage???? Please don't bash the idea to bad guys. I thought of this silly idea at 4:00 A.M. Any thoughts, bashes, etc.are welcome !!

A cigarette store uses this in their cigar display case and every cigar from the middle shelf up is split... I wouldn't chance it.

The big issue would be controlling the humidity level. If you had a large space, it would work really well. In a smaller space it would probably be overkill.

Shelby is right...Too much water is a big problem with that type of setup. But if it goes into a large space like small room converted into humi...youd be good...also consider the RH level of the area your in...In Florida its not a grwat idea, but in Arizona...it would work.

Good advice, Bill. I missed the Florida part.

If you could rig it to a hyrgometer, so that it powered on/off as needed - THEN, you'd have something. Kind of like a trailer park OASIS, LOL.

I run one in my house during the winter and it keeps me from having to re-hydrate the beads inside my humidors as often.

Hmm, I doubt it would work unless you had a really big storage area, and were willing and able to check the humidity every few hours. So in reality, I wouldn't take the chance.
