Cooledor Question

I have been contemplating purchasing a wine cooler or just make a cooledor. I have decided, well to be quite frank, my pocketbook has decided that I am going the Cooledor route. I am going to buy beads to regulate the temperature, but my question is about regulating the temperature. How do you regulate the temperature so that it doesn't get too hot or cold.

I live in Central Texas so I am not so much worried about getting too cold. I am more worried about it getting too warm in the summer. Does just keeping it in a dark closet going to keep it in the right temperature range?

Thanks for the information.

I have decided to do the same. I admit it I have a problem I keep seeing things I want and keep running out of room in my 150ct. They say the first step is to admit you have I problem so, "Hi my name is Bob and I am a cigaraholic."

You know I was going to go the route your wanting to take but I live in Texas where Temp goes up to the triple digits. I cant afford to keep my ac at 60 deg in the summer my electric bill would be crazy! So I just got me a wine cooler. Keep the temp at 69-70 all year round. Unless the temp inside your house stays at a constant 60+ deg all year round, if not invest in a wine cooler. Cigar Beetle outbreaks suck!

Im also seriously considering the wine cooler frige for my next purchase. Have to put some thought into it. But for the most part, seems that if youkep it inside, you should be good. Coolers keep things cold but also keeps weather out.

I think it all depends on what temp you keep your house during the day...

If you are like me, temps in the house regularly hit 80-85 during the day in the summers....so I bought a wine fridge and am taking one of my larger humi's to the office (stays at 72 year round)...

So this is the temp control sensor, what actually controls the temp? Did you hook it up to a peltier unit?

Squid® simply puts all the boxes in the "Squid-A-Dor" along with a credo of florist foam and water. I open it maybe once every two months now that it's filled. No problems, no worries...
