Humi Help
i have a humi its older one from benson and hedges its has a copper insert for the sticks i have maybe 50 cigars in there now with a cigar oasis and 70% bead in a zip lock bag, i have had this for 24 hours so far and it wont move off 66 % i have the oasis on 69 i did the salt test on my hygrometer and its adjustable one so its right on .Is 24 hours not enough for the humi to stabilize

My 20 count humi's took about 72 hours to fully stabalize...and my bigger ones still ain't 100% stable...
So yeah...needs a bit more than 24 hours I would say...

i used to be a humidity junkie until i started reading posts on the subject. thought that it had to be at 70% or the cigars wil go bad. most of the senior members use the heartfelt beads and 65%.that means there humi is probable at 64% most of the time. your at 68% that is fine.my humi took a week to stabilize. hope this helps |

i tend to not answer posts from people that dont use punctuation because it is hard to read the posts do you see what i am talking about can you read this post easily or do you have to read it a couple of times to understand it my humidor took about five days to stabilize when i put in new sticks it usually goes down for a day or two but with the 65% beads it comes right back to where i like it you should try the beads they work very well just my two cents good luck
:errrr:
