Question Winedor capacity's? Lets hear what ya got.

I am in the process of deciding which wine cooler I will be getting to turn in to a Winedor. My finances are not unlimited, so price is a concern, as is capacity. Much like the others that have some before me, I do not want to have multiple humidors, coolerdors, and tupperdors scattered about after I complete this project. I want this to be the last stop on the cigar storage train (yea right, but it sounds good!) I've been looking at a 16 bottle unit, but I notice that most everyone goes for a 28 bottle model.

So how bout it guys, please list the wine cooler model you have and advertised capacity in bottles, then what the capacity is in how many boxes it will hold approximately.

Go for a 28 or bigger, I have a 16 and it just doesn't hold enough, I found it on www.compactappliance.com for $50 with free shipping so I couldnt resist but all I can get in it is 9 boxes: 3 are corona boxes and 2 are edge misstle boxes and its packed to the gills.

17 boxes, thats a lot of smokes.
Seems like a pretty large difference between the 28 bottle unit and the 16.
9 boxes is still a good amount of smokes and probably be the direction I end up leaning.

Considering that I'm living out of a Tupperware bread box, a 20ct humidor and a 50ct glass top Humidor right now, if I go with the 16, use all the lower area for boxes, then make a slide out singles drawer for the top most spot that will hold all my scattered singles I should be able to make it for another year or so.

Thats what you think. I got a 3000 count cabinet at the begining of last summer. I am now in the process of setting up a coolerdor.

I don't actually have 3000 cigars. It's more like 1270. They rate the counts as if they were all in boxes. The trays of singles take up a bit of room. Heres some pix...

http://dutchessrpmc.com/cigars.html

The pix are a few months old but you can get the idea. There is quite a bit more in there now. I have resorted to leaving my sticks in zippy bags so I don't have an avalanche every time I open it up.

Thats an awesome set up!

I like the table top one you got too.
This is my favorite pic, all the Rockys ibble:

Haven't tried the Fusion yet, think I'll go grab one on my lunch break.

I have the same little Havana cigar shaped hydrometer, In your experience is it pretty accurate?

Funny you ask. I just got done checking it with the Humidipak one-step calibration pack. It reads 4% high.
