Best thing is to let it sit open outside (if you can). Bleach smell is a bugger to get out.

Mine still had a slight smell to it when I tried to get it stabilized. After a day or so with some beads and cedar boxes, now it just smells like mostly cedar. It should get better as it goes on. Patience grasshopper.

It will get rid of it self. Leave it open, let the baking soda sit at night. Once you get sticks in there it smells a lot better.

It takes time to get it perfect, so don't stress. I'd pour the baking soda onto a flat dish so there's more area covered, instead of inside a box. Give it a day or so and you'll be fine.

Most B&Ms sell them. If not, they usually sell old cedar boxes which will do the trick as well.

That is usually Red Cedar. I would probably be okay initially but I wouldn't store cigars with it. Too strong!

It took me about a week to get it odorless. Patience will keep your cigars tasting right!

Good luck!
