Question:
I'm looking into buying a nice Humidor to store my better smokes in for long term storage. Right now I am using a Don Salvatore humidor, but I dont feel confident that it would really be a good humidor to try to store cigars for the long run. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been considereing an aristocrat humidor, but I'm not sure if they're worth the price tag. Any opinions?
Thanks guys, Thomas |

Aristocrats are worth it from what I hear, but they are quite pricey. As for a special humidor for aging cigars, I don't know of any. You could try Cuban Crafters or Craftsmans Bench. They are well made and quality humis. Sorry I can't help more.

I store my better smokes in a cooler. I just trust the dang things more than my normal humi. Not the classiest option, but what the hey.
If you've got the expendable dough, go with aristocrat. Those things are a beauty. |

I would love to have an Opux X humi, but I dont have that much to spend on a humi right now. I have also been thinking about an Ashton Humi, but I'm not sure if one of those will be large enough for how much I want to store. How would you rate the Daniel Marshall?
Thanks, Thomas |

I use a coolidor, but I don't have anything I'm planning on "aging". I have read and heard that coolidors are not the way to go for aging cigars, but I've also heard of people vacuum sealing them for aging. Who knows what the truth is?

I have an Antietam from Bargain Humidors. Good quality, and very similar in appearance and construction to the Aristocrats, just a little cheaper. To be honest, unless you are just interested in aesthetics, a cooler will do the job just as well, if not better. You just have to worry about "outgassing" from the insulation. In other words, they will smell for quite some time.
