I assume that by "news" you mean new cigar purchases... <G> If it's a full box purchase, I remove one and store the rest exactly as they came from the manufacturer... Once I "break open" a box for general useage is where I differ from a lot of people. I put my own cello on every stick as well as a label stating price, vitole, vendor, date and other stuff...

Now if your original question was about newspapers from a few years back... Sorry, I don't keep those! HAH!

Sorry for the Jape, that's just what Squid® seems to be best at... <G>

I store in boxes untill the box gets down to less than one row - then they go into shelves. I store in boxes for two reasons - 1 with opening and closing doors of humi - cigars will less affected by humity changes - 2 if there is any problems with tobacco beattles, they will be contained to the box.
