Question Cigar storage solution needed.

For some time now I've realized that I need better storage. My humidor is MAXED out, and I'm also using my travel humi a bit. The method I had always had in mind-was the coolidor. Problem being, our RV can be tough to keep cool when we are in warm regions. From this site, I started learning about the vinotemp frigador's. My problem there, is the size. I really have NO place to put a fridge. I have seen a few 6-8 bottle wine coolers that I could probably find a place for...but they won't really allow for too much storage. I think I do have one spot where I could fit a decent sized cooler...but I still do have heat issues.

I guess you can see the dilemma here. I really need more of a chest style storage solution, and would really love a way for that to be cooled. Super bonus points if it could be done via a 12v system, so it won't go belly up during my frequent moves.

Ideas? :support:

They do sell those coolers that plug in to a 12 volt system to stay cool. I think Coleman and Igloo make them. I've seen them at Target and Wal Mart.

I had one of those a few years back. It caught fire in my van....I don't know if they are any better now? Are they fairly consistent in temp?

I have a vino temp and a coleman cooler. the vino temp is by far better. you can not control the temp on the coleman. there are some 12 volt wine coolers, try the rv stores or truck stops. I know a guy that had one of the 12v wine coolers
