Have you tried beating the hell out of it? I'm not recommending it, but that's probably what I'd end up doing, followed by more cussin'. Me and my friggin' temper...

I have one, and it reads about 10% low. I just did a salt test on it when I got it. Of course, you should season it first, then try salt testing it.

I bought a box a while back and it didnt come with intructions. Is it possible the batteries are low/bad ? If the B&M had that thing open in the humi the batteries dont last long. By the way, those humidors were selling on ebay anywhere from $75 to $100 a while back.

Am I missing something? Since when are digital hygrometers "off?" I though the whole point of buying one was because they're never off, so what's the point of calibrating them? If I have a digital unit that's 10% off then whats the point in having it?

My digi puck in my Humi is spot on. The one for the CAO humi reads low.
