Knowing it's 10% off, is what matters-then you know how to properly read it. Digitals, while still sometimes off, are apparently more accurate than analog. I think they are easier to read, and they have more information. Mine has a back light (which I never use) and max/min temp stored (I often check this one).

Did you ever figure this out? I just won a box of Prahna and it showed up today. The humipack is fresh and still a gel but the humidity is reading a whopping 44%. I glanced over the instructions and did not see anything about calibration. I will have to double check but I left them on my desk at work.
