New Hygrometer help Calibration

I just got a new humi-care adjustable digital hygrometer. Well I have tryed to set it two time now. I have done what it says. Leave the hygrometer and a cap of salt and water. It says it should read room temp and about 75%RH. Well every time i do it 74F and 69%RH. It says use the knob to fix the RH to 75 then click reset. Well i dont understand how to do that. When I move the knob nothing happensnsure:

Move the dial 1 click then click the little button bottom left that changes to celcius and Fahrenheit then salt test again for 24 hours a mason jar works the best.

If I move it one click up wont that put it at 70%RH? Then after I do that do i click the Temp display button at the top or do I click the Set button? When i read what they sent me it says click the set button after I move the knob bit when I move the knob nothing happens =-/

If not, ye can always remmember how off it is form the real marking (maybe write it on a piece of paper near the humi).

When you reset the hygrometer after turning the knob, make sure it's in the bag with the salt water in it otherwise it'll read the humidity of the air outside the bag. Keep turning the knob until it reads 75% as that is what the humidy should read using the salt test. Repeat salt test just to make sure.

1 click to the right will raise it 1%. So move it 6 clicks to the right and push the red button. Then it will read 75% and be properly calibrated.
