Question Wine Cooler wont hold Humidity

I have an edge star 16 bottle wine cooler, a Hydra, and 1/2LB of heartfelt beads and CAN NOT get my humidity to stabilize. The Hydra goes dry daily! The Humi-beads always look dry, and the Humidity will fluctuate from 67 to the high 50's. I even have a small sponge in a shot glass in there and it still will not stabilize. I Boveda tested my Hygro and know it is accurate.
Any suggestions?

Is there a drain? If the the humidity is condensing on the cooler, then draining out, this would account for the lose of humidity.

Other then that, the only thing I can think of is a bad seal.

Exactly,

Set mine up a few moths ago and had the same problem. You need to plug up the drain hole and get the condensation to go back into the beads. I use %70 beads and keep the fridgeadore at 65. Never moves from those settings. It will fluctuate when you open the door, but will go right back in an hour or so

I had the same problem. Check it for leaks.
Mine was a problem in one spot of the magnetic seal on the door.

Are you using the cooling system of the wine cooler? If so, it could be the compressor (if it isn't thermoelectric) taking all of the humidity out. If you aren't using the cooling system, then the information already posted could be accurate. I use a wine cooler, but the compressor went out. (Picked it up for free on Craigslist). I have not had any problems regulating humidity and I have never messed with the drainage system.
