Drymistat Humidifier Tube

anybody have one of these tubes? my desktop humidor is becoming full and the jar of gel i have in there is taking up crucial space. The jar works perfect tho so im skeptical of making a switch unless people are happy with this thing. takes up bout as much room as a small cigar like corona gorada sized almost. Also wondering where the best placement would be for this. like on the top of all the cigars are at the bottom underneath ?

I use the tubes. Says you can put them anywhere in the humi, even mixed in with the sticks. They have been in mine for months and have worked great.

I go a little above the recommendations of 1 for every 25. I have a 100 ct with 6 tubes in the middle. Humi stays from 66 to 68 rh.

I hear ya. Xicar has a large (round in shape-about the size of a coaster and appx an inch thick) humidifier for about $30. It says it will do 100 sticks. I was thinking about it. 10 bucks a pop adds up quick.

I have them in each of my humidors and they work great. Humidification beads leave debris behind in the humidor if you use them with those tubes that have holes in them. These Drymistat Tubes are different. They are outstanding tools to keep your stogies at the right humidity. They are easy to use and don't create a mess in your humidor. You can find a wonderful deal on them at:

I like mine, works well. If you don't want to have 70% rh experiment with different fill lines. Convenient with the tap water.

I used to have one, but I think it got "worn out" and stopped putting out humidity.

Yeah, no matter how long I left it the crystals never shrank, and even when I tried to add water to it, they didn't expand.
