Ash Tray?

Any one have a suggestion for a nice outside ashtray? Were about to finish the back yard and my wife is sick of me knocking the ash onto the back patio and table, so I figured it was time to get one.

Re: Ash Tray?

I just recently went through a similar process. I didn't want to spring a bunch of money on something super fancy, but I wanted it to look nice. So I went to our local Goodwill, and in the glass containers department picked up what looks like it used to hold chocolates or something, little glass thing with a nice lid. Very fancy, looks like a turkish tobacco holder or something the way it is now set up, and better yet, it cost me 99 cents.

uuhhh, sorry wrong smilie....... nope, still not quite right.......Attachment 6049 there, thats it (j/k frank)

Gots me a stinky ash tray and I love it. It works great, no matter how many guys I have using it. Mine stays on the back porch and if I'm feeling like a neat-ninny I can always spiff it up with a brillo pad. I just empty it into one of my wifes flower pots the morning after.

Re: Ash Tray?

I looked at the stinky on the heartfelt site. Its in my price range and shiny is good. I love the look of the marble ones but man I don't know if I can pay that price for somthing to hold ash. My wife just saw the picture you posted of the stinky and things it looks great. That may be the winner.

Glad I could help Jason. We first saw them at Mikey's and had to have one. Then we got another through a group buy with RJT. If you want a big arse ash tray you don't have to empty every 5 minutes, then its for you.

At our old house our back porch had a shade / trellis thingy over it and my wife had several baskets of hanging flowers. By and by she noticed that some weren't doing so well. Soon they died. When she took the basket down and there were about 75 butts in it....she kicked my ass!

Re: Ash Tray?

As soon as I can get it from my friend, I'll be using a piston from a V8 mustang, I think it'll be pretty cool. (I'm kind of a car geek )
