yes, what you are planning will be sufficient for the trivoli. I have one as do a few others here. I just went up to the Hydra LG because I got it for a good price. Beads on the top, hydra sm on the bottom should be good. Just take care to look for humidity leaks in the begining.

Hey Ron I'm thinking about getting one of these down the road when the funds permit. When you say check for humidity leaks how do you do that? Presuming you mean the cabinet

I own the Trivoli and picked it up from Mike at Tampa humidor. I use the Oasis XL II and it keeps a steady 70.

I love this humidor and my fiance seems to enjoy it as well seeing as it sits off our study.

Very very nice indeed!

So that is where I was having loss. This is on an imperfect model. Save the money, go with the imperfect, and buy a $0.99 sheet of self adhesive felt.

felted the exact same on mine, after reading ron's thread and asking him about it when i got it. works like a charm with the c.o.xl.II on bottom and beads on top shelf and in lidded-area.

I've got one of these and it works great! I'm running an Oasis XL on the bottom and about a pound of beads set on the top shelf 3 peg holes down. I also have a battery powered Oust fan on the shelf pointing up to the singles tray to help draw humidity up into it.

I also felted it and have not had any humidity problems since.
