I hate when this happens.
I go out to the shop to continue building, what else, another Humidor. Get my cigar lit, cut up some beautiful spanish cedar thats oozing cedar sap. Mill it down to usable size, get it all cut and ready to go in and there it is. Cracks across the grain. Completely unusable in a humi. Go to grab new pieces, 1/2 inch short. Now I get the board stretcher out, no way won't stretch enough
 I'm out of Spanish Cedar so I come to a stop until I can buy more. Oh well, the NUb Conneticuit was great and made the time worth it. |

Well, you needed a break anyhow!
 I spent about 4 hours in the shop today just CLEANING! I found the big 4X8 roll around table that'd been lost for months, and the big outfeed table for the cabinet saw! A pretty good shop day for me. Oh yeah, enjoyed a Padilla Miami for the first hour or so of working. Another day like today, and I'll have room to get some tools fixed!

BTW The router is not a freud, it's a Bosch 3 hp. I'm just looking for an excuse to buy a Festool Router. Let me know if you need it. |

Just picked up a 7 foot stick of oozing Spanish cedar. I like my cedar like this because it is already humidified. It's been kiln dried but the sap has moisture in it. It makes for a very aeromatic smelling humi. It's hard to come across the stuff so I usually buy it all.
