Calibrate with Humipak
Can you calibrate Hygrometer with a 6month Humipak i guess there only for cigars to maintain 70% for 6months so why cant i put a hygrometer in them and set it to 70 as the boveda bags are.
is that accurate

I would say as long as the humi pack is right I can't see why not. I know humipack even makes a special one with it's own ziplock bag for this.

I would assume that you can. I like to use the boveda bags to calibrate. Or you can do the salt test
|

I emailed humipak this is the answer if anyone is interested
Yes you can check the hygrometer within the Humidor Bag. Temp should be room temp and sit in there for 36 hours, but temp. does not really matter too much. The RH should be 69% to be accurate. Hope that helps, Tim
