I think i tainted my cigars, help!

I recently purchased my self a new humidor and did all the upgrades; gel crystal humidifier and digital hygrometer. My new humidifier kept falling apart, where the magnet is glued on to the backside, so i finally got annoyed and decided i would try and fix it by gluing it back together by using a special spray on adhesive. I let it air dry for a little while and then reinstalled and of course it fell off again. So I have just placed in on the try for the past week. Tonight i went to smoke a usual cigar and it was flat awful, nothing like it is ordinarily. Maybe I am over reacting but I am afraid that i might have tainted my cigars by using the adhesive on my humidifier. Any suggestions?

A highly aromatic glue will affect your cigars, but sounds like you may have some that are just dried out a bit. Try Velcro strips to attach your humidifier. You can get them at hobby shops or electronics shops. The glue on that stuff sticks, and doesn't smell.
