best humi under $100?
looking at my humis... they've been close to full for a bit, and i'm afraid they wont take much more... kind of figured its time to pick something up to be a workhorse humi to hold the bulk of them.
looking for something to hold at least 75 cigars, if it can hold smaller cigar boxes that would be great. i really like this one :http://www.cigarsinternational.com/p...-DISH75&cat=10 i know its 25 more than my own proposed budget, but i lke the looks a lot and figure i can really stack em with that. what do you guys think?

thanks
i'll def keep it mind... especially at that price. may i ask how the humidification is with it? if you kept the stock hydration setup that is. i would prefer something i can put smaller boxes in. for example i just picked up the cao commerative sampler, and thats when i realized i needed something to keep things like that in. because while they are pretty cigars (smoking the anny now) they just look prettier kept in that box! haha

Check out the Devil Site,,,I picked up a 150 count Rocky Patel humi that I won for $36 and it's perfect. They can usually be had for about this same pricing and if you don't like it you can send it back as they are great about returns.

cbid actually got me to thinking about imperfects, since i'm not crazy worried about looks, but if i cant end up with a good price on an imperfect, i'll probably end up on cbid ![]()

Puffer Fish with some spikes

If you aren't concerned about appearances, buy a 48 qt Coleman cooler and a pound of Hearfelt beads. Get a few trays from Bargain Humidors for $10/ea, and a Western Caliber III hygrometer, and you are still way under $100. I have a fairly expensive cabinet, and three two hundred ct desk tops, and the Coleman is the most maintenance free and efficient of the bunch. In addition, it is highly portable, in warm months, I just carry it down to the basement, where it stays a comfortable 65 degrees in the hottest months.

You could also go ahead and get a wine cooler.. for well under $100 and then get the beads.. you can store boxes in that.

I see what you're doing!!

I don't have any nice humidors; the kind that are displayed on a desk for instance. Squid® prefers to go with large capacity plain box-types mostly... They keep the cigars in excellent condition which is pretty much all I need from them. <G>

Why?.....Why not!

Go with the Coleman. I also have many desktop humi's that take a lot more work than my coolidor! Definitely, go with the beads!
