Using RH beads

I was reading a forum the other day and one guy showed his homemade RH bead humidifier, his alternate to the puckifier. I can't find the post so i was wondering if you guys can help me out. Does anyone know how many beads I should use in a homemade humidifier? Or has anyone done this? Any help would be awesome!
