oasis ultra with a magnet?

so i have an oasis ultra coming that i scored on a trade, and i plan on putting it in my larger cohiba humi.

my question is. the cohiba humi has two small round silver magnets at the top built in to the underside of the lid. can i use these to latch the oasis on to? or will the magnets mess with the electronic parts? or will the ultra not work if its not sitting flat, facing up?

just curious and thought maybe somebody here could answer.

I have 2 CO and there meant to be standing down then dont take that much space

I don't have a Cigar Oasis, I have a Hydra, but assuming they are he same--the water resovoir is mounted at the bottom of the unit, and is filled with the green foam that holds water. you could probably use it upside down, but you'll have to be very careful not to overfill it, or else water will drip into the electrics. I think you'd be best off just planning to place it in the bottom of your humidor. Cigar Oasis does make a model that mounts in the lid, but that probably isn't the one you're getting.

lol, actually after doing some research it IS the model made to be mounted inside lids...

guess i'll have to wait until i get it to see how it mounts..
