So today I got a cigar oasis XL
and I love it. I'm still shopping for a bigger humidor, but decided to get my oasis today at the shop while i wasnt working. I LOVE IT!

Puffer Fish with some spikes

I have a couple CO XL Plus units. I use a pound of Hearfelt beads and a CO unit in my cabinet, and the combination does an excellent job. I put the CO at the bottom, and the beads nearer the top. My experience with a CO in a 4.5-5.0 cu ft cabinet is that it dries out way too fast to suit me. The beads maintain the humidity for months and the CO fan provides the circulation you need.

yes i have the oasis ultra that can be laid any direction.
while it does a great job of keeping my humidity, it has a hard time keeping water in the 75-100 ct that its in. i've been filling it once a week or so since i got it. but to me thats a price i'm willing to pay for not having it taking up room in the bottom of my humi

Thats pretty often. I have the XL plus in my coolidor I fill it about every 3 months.
