Double up on your humidification in the winter months but don't wipe down the wood directly with water. You are going to raise the grain, warp the wood, introduce pathogens, and generally potentially damage your humidor.
I know there are a ton of guys out there who will tell you that they wiped down their humidor and nothing ill came of it. But trust me, from someone in the business, if you want to keep your humidor for a long time and not experience any problems with mold, warping that causes leaking seals, raised grain that damages wrappers, or any other problems in the future, do it the slow and patient way. This explains it all. I'm also glad to answer any questions regarding humidor humidification. Humidor reseasoning
