Gah. Humidity issues..

Well,

It would seem that my coolerdor is doing a great job at holding humidity..
It also would seem that I'm gaining abit too much humidity.. It was up to 72RH yesterday, today it's up to 75..

Should I be worried? I've done the salt test, the hygro's fine.

Anyone know a way to get it to go down around oh, 5-6RH?

And yes, now I do intend to get more beads for this one, and use the crystal-jar thing for the celebratory desk humi I picked up today.

Does the cooler have a water drain hole? If so open it until RH goes down. Or prop the lid open with a pencil until it goes down...

Squid nailed it. Just prop the top open. If you are buying new boxes of cigars and throwing them in there, they will increase the humidity. Each time I add a new box my humidity spikes. In time it will equal out until you put the next box of sticks in.

Smart cigar men these guys,,,can't even begin to say how much aggravation I have avoided reading these posts. Dealing with RH and temps is a constant source of irritation. If I have heard it once I've heard it a hundred times every time I go to the B&M's,,,a favorite piece of conversation.
