hygro/temp for less $$$

I've ordered an airfilter for my furnace from these guys. As i browsed the website i came across this little gem, a 2 pack of humidity/temperature meters for $19.95 (and free shipping).

Size seems reasonable and the prize seems right. I'm tempted at buying a few of these devices to complement my wireless meters (i'm now up to 7 humi's).

I'm particularly attracted by the compact size. I'll let you guys know after i get them how well they work out but i figured i should spill the beands since i'm going to be travelling this week.

Re: hygro/temp for less $$$

the only thing i would be leary is would be the variance.. i think that hygros built for humidors are more accurate, with less variance, then those built for home heating systems.. i could be dead wrong, so dont think i am hating on your post..

Mr. B:

I would be interesed in a review once you try them! One feature I see I would appreciate is the use of a AAA battery, verses those expensive watch battaries that don't last any longer than standard AA's and AAA's.

Did-O That on the watch batteries! I thought I had scored big when I purchased 25 of those little suckers... They last about 2 days in the led flash light my son used to 'sleep' with!!

Get what you pay for VinnDog!

It would be interesting to see a direct comparison to the Western Caliper model, which I favor over all for it's dependability and rapid adjustments.
