Re: wynter sno

I have one. Its not a bad unit but I dont think it is worth the price. It feels a little cheap. But I got mine on ebay as a blemished unit so I am happy with it as I ended up getting it for free because the damage wasnt as described.
It would have been worth the $80 I originally paid, but I dont think its worth $160. But it does work.

Re: wynter sno

I have 1lb of 70% heartfelt beads. It seems to hold fairly well but im not entirely sure yet. I just got the shelves in about 2 days ago so I cant say how well it works with some cedar in there. But without the shelves and opening the door once a day, I have had to put more water on the beads about every 3 days. But Im sure having the shelves in there will help out with that. Also I actually disabled the cooling unit because I could not get it to keep a temperature above 60* even though u can set it to 64* on the display. I disabled it and left it plugged into the wall so that the fan still runs inside to circulate the air.
It never gets above 70* in my house though so it works out fine for me. But it may be something that will not work well for others.

Re: wynter sno

I have one that works great! I have cedar shelves and drawers in it and it stays a rock solid 68 rh the temp controls are not the most accurate but if you set it all the way up it basically just stays around room temp which if fine in the winter and I will play around with it over the summer. I have had mine since Christmas.

Re: wynter sno

nice info guys..where did you buy your ceder shelves and trays?

I live in south Florida and will probably be running mine wide open......I'm scheduled to receive my SNO today the 18th......and I think I will use crystal clear litter pearls unscented....the thread here about them seems very positive and there only $10 for 4lb's

Re: wynter sno

I have not had any significant condensation issues I do not store smokes on the bottom of the unit just beads and I did plug the drain in mine with a piece of duck tape.
