I just got a humidor shaped like a shotgun shell in the mail from cabelas for my birthday. Do these things work or should I just send it back?

I have one. They work fine just need to check the moisture every so often to ensure proper humidification

I like mine personally when I do travel I always bring it

Cool looking, that's sort of what I do with mine when I travel. I have a one quart wide mouth aluminum thermos. I just drop them in and they keep perfectly for at least two weeks which is the longest i've used it.
