Opinions on glass-top humidors
I'm thinking about upgrading my humidor and there is a nice 75 count at my local tobacco store that I have my eye on. The humidor has a glass top which looks very nice but I'm wondering if it presents any disavantages compared to a normal solid lid humidor? Also, it costs $109; is that a deceant price for an attractive, well-made humidor? Thanks.

Re: Opinions on glass-top humidors
Heard that glass top isn't ideal for long term aging, but mine has a tray in the top and lots of room underneath, so this doesnt seem reasonable. You may want to check out www.cheaphumidors.com . I've had the art deco model for a year, and it has performed flawlessly, is well built, and very attractive. It's marketed to hold 150, although all desktop humis seem to hold less than they claim. Never counted, but mine holds much more than 75, and was significantly cheaper than the one you noted. Also, I got mine from the Imperfects section, and am yet to find the flaw in it that classified it as such. There are not many glass tops in this section right now, but keep looking. Even at the regular price, they have some great selections; very happy with mine.
