NIBO

I bought my first NIBO from FS in November. It is a triple flame Space lighter, very common. One of the heads of the jets fell out in February, so I wrote the company in Canada to see if they would replace it.

They did, it came last week, now one of the jets on the new one quit working, so it does work, but only two jets fire up. It turns out I was able to fix the first one that the head fell out of, but it only stays in a week or so and so far I've been lucky, I keep finding it.

SO, my question is, what is your experience with these seemed to be flawed lighters?

I picked one up from FS as well when they were on sale. I've had mine since Dec of 08 with no problems so far *crosses fingers*

Re: NIBO

I have 3 NIBO lighters and they are about 2 years old and have had no issues with them at all. That is not to say what you are experiencing is one in a million deal. If you have any issues with a lighter you bought and even if it is a replacement lighter,,,if it doesn't work to your satisfaction send it back and demand a full return including shipping costs.

Re: NIBO

When I worked at the B&M we had Nibos that sometimes would not work straight out of the packaging. Terrible, terrible product.

IMO just get a Ronson Jetlite and forget about the others.
