Re: Lighter and Humidor Question

I have numerous lighters. My favorite is the IM Corona Old Boy for a soft flame which I prefer. It is a lifetime lighter with a warranty to match. They are quite unique in style. Have had my Old Boy for many years, and never a problem. Do use quality, ie triple refined or better, fuel in any of them. My favorite torch, used only for touch ups, is a Xikar single flame.

Re: Lighter and Humidor Question

So I got my humidor in and am ready to start seasoning it. I bought 4 Boveda packs (3 84% and 1 72%). It said to use 4-5 84% packs for a humidor my size but I thought it was a little overkill thats why I decide to go with my particular mix. I still haven't bought a digital hygrometer and I don't really trust the one that came with it but I want to start seasoning it. Should I go ahead and stick the packs in now or wait to get a digital hygrometer. Also how do I use the Boveda packs, just open them up and place them on the humidor floor? I'll try to get some pics of the humidor up soon..

Yep, love that Oldboy style. I have an old one I love that my dad used to use (poor old guy, he spent all those years suffering cigarettes when he could have smoked serious quality cigars instead!)
